Kinston Country Club to Host the TYGA Roy Jones Junior Invitational
Southern Pines, NC – The Tarheel Youth Golf Association (TYGA) is excited to announce Kinston Country Club will host the TYGA Roy Jones Junior Invitational.
The 36-hole stroke play event is scheduled to be played on August 19-20. This event is open to the first 90 junior players ages 10-18. This event will be used for rankings for both TYGA and Junior Golf Scoreboard.
Kinston Country Club is a par 71, eighteen hole championship golf course designed by Ellis Maples. The spectacular layout consisting of Bermuda fairways and Champion Bermuda grass greens offers a challenge to golfers of all skill levels.
Registration closes for The TYGA Roy Jones Junior Invitational on August 11th at 11:59 pm.

FORMAT
The championship format is 36-hole individual stroke play.
YARDAGES
Yardages will range from 4,823 – 6,373 depending on division.
AGE DIVISIONS
Boys will compete in four age divisions; boys’ 10-11, boys’12-13, boys’ 14-15 and boys’ 16-18.
Girls will compete in three age divisions; girls’ 10-11, girls’ 12-13 and girls’ 14-18
ELIGIBILITY
Entry is open to any amateur golfer ages 10-18 as of August 19, 2016, who has not started college, is a legal resident of North Carolina.
PRIZES
Trophies are awarded to the champion, runner-up, and third place in each division.
