Seven Lakes, NC –Final results for the 4th TYGA Team Challenge hosted by Seven Lakes CC in Seven Lakes, NC on Saturday and Sunday, October 31-November 1, 2015.
The Three Ring Circus used a true team effort to capture the 4th TYGA Team Challenge. Tyler Dechellis of Clayton, Josh Lendach of Raleigh, NC and Zach Roberts of Holly Springs, NC each counted at least one score over the two days to help their team win. Dechellis took home additional hardware as he beat out Tim Bunten of Concord, NC on the first playoff hole to win the individual medalist honors.
The TYGA Team Challenge is a 36 hole event in which teams of three compete with their best two scores each day counting towards the team score.
About the Tarheel Youth Golf Association (TYGA)
The Tarheel Youth Golf Association (TYGA), a division of the Carolinas Golf Association, a 501 (c) 3 organization, provides playing opportunities for its members, conducts educational seminars and events, acts as a junior golf informational clearinghouse, provides free USGA handicaps to junior golfers in North Carolina, recruits sponsor clubs that grant junior access to golf facilities in North Carolina, publishes monthly North Carolina junior rankings, and awards Junior Player of the Year and All-State awards to the top juniors in North Carolina. Membership is open to any boy or girl who are legal residents of N.C; are 18 years of age and under; and who have not started college.
