New Bern H.S. Wins Pinecrest Girls H.S. Invitational, Kouchi Earns Medalist Honors
Pinehurst, N.C. (October 11, 2017) -- Results from the Tarheel Youth Golf Association’s Pinecrest Girls' High School Invitational hosted by Pinehurst Country Club, Course No. 6 located in Pinehurst, N.C. on October 11, 2017.
New Bern H.S. of New Bern, NC won the Pinecrest Girls' High School Invitational at Pinehurst C.C., No.6, in Pinehurst, NC winning by six shots over host Pinecrest H.S. of Pinehurst, NC. Cox Mill H.S. and Providence H.S. both from Charlotte, NC finished tied for third with a total of 263.
Medalist honors at the Pinecrest Girls' High School Invitational went to Nina Kouchi, of Charlotte, NC who shot a round of five over par, 77. Mackenzie Battle, of Aberdeen, NC, Nicole Kramer, of Charlotte, NC, and Trinity Ahing, of New Bern, NC finished tied for second place after firing rounds of 79.
